Half-Halts
Half-halts and impulsion are both complicated and can be confusing topics! I've tried to break this down into simple exercises that you can do to practice your half-halts and get more impulsion in your horse. Some of the exercises are better for horses that are more on the hot side and others are better for horses that are a bit more on the lazy side.
