Most all riders struggle with contact and connection. It is one of the HARDEST and most important parts of Dressage!
Contact comes first: getting the horse to accept the bit and give to the pressure. Connection comes second - this is where we involve the whole body of the horse and get the horse to go from the hind leg through the back in to the bridle!

About Amelia
Amelia Newcomb is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, and a member of the prestigious USEF Dressage Development Program. She has trained and competed close to 50 horses in almost 500 competitions, and has trained several horses that she started as youngsters all the way up to the Grand Prix.
